Bradford College is one of the largest colleges of further & higher education in the country and is home to over 2,600 full-time students. It offers a broad range of Higher National Diploma & degree programmes and is committed to widening participation for learners from all walks of life and to making the learning experience for students as positive and rewarding as possible.

Bradford College has a partnership agreement with Leeds Metropolitan University, which brings a host of benefits to its students. Those studying for degrees which are validated by Leeds Met will receive them from one of the country's leading universities and students are also able to access the first-rate facilities provided by Leeds Met.

Bradford has a strong multicultural society which adds to the vibrancy of the city, making it an exciting yet affordable place to live.

Leeds Metropolitan University is one of the largest and most popular universities in the country with over 41,000 full and part-time students. There are two contrasting learning environments at Leeds Met; the traditional setting of one campus in the world-famous sporting area of Headingley and one intertwined with the business, health, civic and entertainment quarters of the city.

Leeds Met has close links with Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Leeds Rhinos and Leeds Tykes rugby clubs, as well as with the Headingley Stadium itself. The Headingley campus is also home to Carnegie, which is renowned for excellence in sport, as well as boasting some of the finest sporting facilities for students in the country.

Leeds Met is striving to be a world-class regional university with world-wide horizons and is firmly committed to widening participation and lifelong learning.

The University of Bradford offers more than 170 degree courses in practical and vocational fields at undergraduate level and around 80 at postgraduate level, its academic strengths including management, languages, engineering and health-related sciences, including physiotherapy. The university has over 8,000 students but still has a close-knit, friendly environment, and although the city is one of the ten largest in Britain, it is small enough to be friendly, compact enough to be manageable, yet large enough to have all the facilities of a thriving modern city.

Situated close to the Yorkshire Dales, Bradford offers a wealth of sporting activities, including soccer, rugby league and cricket. Bradford is home to the world-renowned Bradford League, one of the strongest cricket leagues in the country and a breeding ground of a wealth of international cricketers.

The city's strong cricketing heritage was underlined in December 2005 with the appointment of Imran Khan, one of the greatest cricketers of all time, as the University's Chancellor.

The University of Leeds is one of the UK's top civic universities and is recognised world-wide for the quality of its teaching and research, with no fewer than 35 of its departments being rated nationally or internationally as excellent.

With well over 30,000 full-time students the University offers 700 different first-degree courses and 474 post-academic programmes. These range from the traditional subjects such as English, law, medicine and modern languages, to more specialist subjects including sports science, colour chemistry, broadcast journalism and product design.

Leeds University offers a wealth of state-of-the-art sports facilities including the highly impressive Weetwood sports ground, home to the Leeds/Bradford UCCE.

The city itself is one of the most attractive, fastest-growing and vibrant in the country and one of the most popular with students.
